Who am I?
There are two answers: professionally and personally. Now, I'm not two different people, but there's a lot of overlap in my professional and personal passions.

I have been working for over 25 years in a wide variety of industries including restaurants, retail, finance, sales, and more. My experience has run the gamut from Fortune 100 companies to small independent businesses. So I have an impressive collection of job titles, including:
I have learned so much during my working life. I've met incredible people, traveled extensively, and had more "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences than I could have ever imagined possible. Even with the diversity of my background, there are several common threads through it all:
I've been called an expert in these areas. I don't like referring to myself as an "expert" because it implies a finality of knowledge - knowledge is never finite - but people and businesses come to me, unsolicited for advice and help in these areas. So if the shoe fits...

Three words usually come to mind: Bearded, Bespectacled, and Opinionated.
I was born and raised in Louisville, KY, and I'm fanatical about my city. I won't tell you my exact age, but I will tell you that I remember the Falls Fountain and the Bashford Manor Mall TV pits.
I try to dabble in as many things as possible, but I maintain a keen interest (possibly bordering on obsession) in things like Doctor Who, startups, bourbon, marketing, socks, and data. But not always in that order or at the same time - that gets messy.
